Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre, (PLAC) with support from the European Union (EU) held a Training Workshop for secretariat staff of the House Committee on Public Petitions at Ibeto Hotel, Abuja on Friday, 26th February 2021. The Public Petitions Committee in the House of Representatives is a special Committee tasked with quasi-judicial functions such as the hearing of petitions from the public on administrative injustices, they may have suffered from government ministries, departments and agencies among others. Thus, the objective of the training was to strengthen the capacity of the secretariat staff who are responsible for the documentation of its processes on the best means to effectively carry out their duties
