PLAC organised a Technical Working Session on the Harmonisation of the Police Bill, following the passage of the bill in the Senate on 8 July 2020 and the House of Representatives on 2 June 2020. The session held from 15 to 16 July 2020 in Abuja. The purpose of the session was to identify differences in the versions of the Bill passed by the respective Chambers, ahead of the meeting of the Harmonisation Committee and produce a Harmonisation Report and bill for consideration and adoption by members. In attendance were the Committee Clerks of the respective Committees on Police Affairs, the Head of legal drafting department and PLAC Staff.
