Following a public hearing on the Police Bill, which held on 18 March 2020, PLAC organised a Technical Working Session to review the bill and develop the report of the Senate Committee on Police Affairs. This session held from 25 to 27 March 2020. In attendance were the Clerk of the Senate Committee on Police Affairs, Director of Legal Drafting in NASS, representatives of the Nigeria Police Force and other key stakeholders. The outcome was a revised bill and draft committee report for consideration and adoption by members of the Committee.
