Today, the PLAC 2026 Legislative Interns embarked on an educational tour of the National Assembly Complex, where they were warmly received by the Sergeant-at-Arms and introduced to the structure, history, and day-to-day workings of Nigeria’s legislature.

As part of the tour, the interns visited key sections of the National Assembly, including the legislative chambers, gaining first-hand exposure to the lawmaking environment and a deeper understanding of parliamentary processes.
The visit forms part of the PLAC Legislative Internship Programme’s commitment to equipping young Nigerians with practical knowledge of democratic governance and legislative practice.
