Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC) with the support of the United States Strengthening Civic Advocacy and Local Engagement (SCALE) held a Capacity Building Workshop for Civil Society Organisations (CSOs) and Business Management Organisations (BMOs) on Legislative Engagement with the National and State House of Assembly. The objective of the programme which held on Wednesday, 9th February 2022 at Grand Pela Hotel, Abuja was to capacitate CSOs on how to engage the Legislature at the Federal and State level more effectively. Topics examined at the programme included a general overview of the legislative business of the National Assembly as well as the challenges some CSOs face while engaging with the Legislature in Nigeria.
