A member of the House of Representatives, Princess Funke Adedoyin representing Irepodun, Isin, Ekiti and Oke-Ero Local Government Area of Kwara State passed on September 28, 2018.
Hon. Adedoyin was a former Minister of State for Health and a first time member of the House of Representatives. She was set to seek re-nomination to the National Assembly by her party, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) before she passed.
She was the Deputy Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Army and the African Group Regional Representative of the Bureau of Women Parliamentarians in the Inter-Parliamentary Union[1].
Hon. Funke Adedoyin worked with Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC) in her capacity as the Vice Chairman of the House Committee on Army. Her latest engagement with PLAC was during her participation in the exchange visit of members of the Committee with parliamentarians in Ghana, which was held in March 2018 and hosted by the Kofi Annan International Peace Keeping Training Centre, Accra.
