The President, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has written to the Senate requesting the confirmation of 28 nominees for appointment as Ministers of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
At the plenary session of Thursday, 27 July 2023, the President of the Senate, Sen. Godswill Akpabio officially received the request of President Tinubu in a letter transmitted to the Senate through his Chief of Staff (CoS), Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.
In the letter dated, 27 July 2023, President Tinubu requested the confirmation of the following persons for appointment as Ministers:

Following the transmittal of the names of persons to be appointed as Ministers, it is expected that the Senate will commence the approval process through a screening session to evaluate the qualifications, suitability and competence of the nominees for the proposed Ministerial positions.
