Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC) with support from USAID-SCALE held its first webinar series on policy advocacy and engagement themed “How Citizen Participation in the Legislative Process Enhances Democratic Reforms” on Thursday, 16th June 2022.
The objective of the webinar series was to examine ways civil society organisations could interface with the Legislative arm to inspire reforms that solidify Nigeria’s democracy. At the event, PLAC and a development expert shared practical experiences from its engagement with the National Assembly over the years with a view to increasing constructive interaction with the Legislative arm.
