On 11th October 2024, the PLAC 2024 Legislative Interns from toured the National Assembly to familiarize themselves with its complex and prepare for their upcoming committee deployment. Guided by the Education & Excursions Unit of the Sergeant-At-Arms, they gained insights into the Assembly’s structure, functions, and legislative processes.
The interns explored key areas, learning about legislation crafting, committee roles, parliamentary procedures, and the importance of collaboration among legislators. This experience is vital for enhancing their understanding of the legislative environment and equipping them to navigate their roles effectively.
