Introduction:

Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC) in collaboration with the Joint Committee on Electoral Matters of the 9th National Assembly organised a Special Hearing on the Extent of Implementation of the Electoral Act, 2022 with key stakeholders on Wednesday, 8th February 2023 at the Conference Room 231, New Senate Building, National Assembly Complex, Abuja.

Objective:

The Special Hearing was aimed at providing an opportunity for stakeholders, including civil society organisations, political parties, and concerned citizens, to share their perspectives, insights, and recommendations on voter registration, electoral transparency and accountability, inclusiveness, voter awareness and civic education, use of technology, electoral dispute resolution, etc. ahead of the 2023 General Elections.
