Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC) with support from McArthur Foundation held a Retreat for INEC’s Gender and Inclusivity Department at Sheraton Hotel, Lagos from 23rd November to 25th November 2022. The Retreat which was themed “National Dialogue with CSOs Ahead of the 2023 General Elections” was intended at strengthening the participation of marginalised groups in the 2023 elections to expand the political space and improve on the credibility of elections. Participants at the retreat included Professor Kunle Ajayi, National Commissioner and Chairman, Outreach and Partnership Committee (OPC), INEC, Mr. Olusegun Agbaje MFR, mni Resident Electoral Commissioner, INEC, Directors and staff from the Department for Social Inclusion and various civil society group
