2021 PLAC Legislative Internship Programme Begins

Legislative Internship

Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC) with support from the European Union commenced its 2021 Legislative Internship Programme on Monday, 7 June 2021, with a welcome dinner and a formal orientation/induction on Tuesday, 8 June 2021 to Wednesday, 9 June 2021.

The internship programme has been supported by the European Union since 2018 to improve the participation of youths in legislative and political processes and create better understanding of democratic institutions such as the National Assembly.

40 young interns drawn from Nigeria’s six geo-political zones and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) are taking part in in the programme which ends in August 2021.
