PLAC Interns Meet European Union Ambassador

On Friday, December 6, 2024, interns from the PLAC Legislative Internship Programme 2024 paid a courtesy visit to the European Union Ambassador to Nigeria and ECOWAS, H.E. Zissimos Vergos, at the EU Delegation Office in Abuja.

The visit was led by PLAC’s Programme Manager, Nkiru Uzodi, and served as a unique opportunity for the interns to engage directly with international partners committed to supporting democratic governance and youth empowerment in Nigeria.

The EU Ambassador, alongside Olawumi Laolu, welcomed and addressed the interns, sharing words of encouragement, insights on EU support for Nigeria’s democracy, and the importance of youth participation in nation-building.
