Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC) in collaboration with the National Assembly, the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies (NILDS) and support from the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) organised a 2-week inauguration and induction programme for members-elect of the Senate and the House of Representative of the 10th National Assembly.
Objective:
The orientation which held from the 8th of May 2023 to 20th May 2023 at the International Conference Centre, Abuja, aimed to welcome and orientate members-elect on its constitutional role of lawmaking, representation and oversight and to provide them with the necessary information and resources to succeed in their roles.
