In the second episode of PLAC’s Governance Conversations podcast, Executive Director of Women Advocate Research and Documentation Centre (WARD-C), speaks on the declining level of women’s representation in politics, particularly post 2011. She notes some of the challenges faced by women in politics, such as godfatherism, lack of internal party democracy, violence and others. She also speaks on the Constitution amendment bill on women’s political representation that did not to pass at the National Assembly, as well as the use of affirmative actions for to increase women’s political representation.
