Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC) on Wednesday, 9th February 2022, brought together leaders of political parties and human rights activists working on inclusivity issues, to examine the current challenges facing the participation of women, youths and persons with disabilities (PWDs) in politics and governance in Nigeria. The event supported by MacArthur Foundation looked at current practices hindering their participation and recommended needed changes to promote greater representation of marginalised groups and strategies to improve the nomination process of candidates within political parties.
