The House of Representatives has summoned the Inspector General of Police (IGP), Ibrahim Idris\u00a0\u00a0 over documents relating to the 2017 Appropriations Bill which was allegedly removed from the residence of the Chairman, Senate Committee on Appropriations, Sen. Danjuma Goje (PDP: Gombe) by officers of the Nigerian Police Force (NPF).<\/p>\n
Moving the motion titled “Need to Check Excesses of Security Agents with Regard to Invasion of Residences of Law Abiding Citizens” <\/em><\/strong>at the plenary session of Wednesday, April 26th <\/sup>2017, Hon. Abubakar Yunusa Ahmad (APC: Gombe) noted with concern, that the way and manner security agents invaded the privacy of citizens in the course of their duties was without regard to law and due process. Hon. Ahmad also described the invasion of Sen.
