Internship Model  (MLA) 2025"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre successfully hosted the <strong>2025 Legislative Internship Model Legislative Assembly (MLA)<\/strong> as part of its ongoing Legislative Internship Programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Supported by the European Union, the MLA is designed to strengthen youth participation and deepen understanding of legislative procedures within Nigeria\u2019s National Assembly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the session, interns translated their learning into practice by simulating a <strong>mock plenary<\/strong>, re-enacting real legislative processes such as debates, motions, and decision-making \u2014 providing a hands-on experience of how the legislature functions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The MLA remains a key highlight of the programme, bridging the gap between <strong>theoretical knowledge and practical legislative engagement<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-gallery columns-3 is-cropped\"><ul
