Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC) is planning a convening of its past Legislative Interns from the very first internship in 2013 to the latest in 2021. As part of the convening, PLAC will be publishing an Alumni magazine and is therefore seeking submission and stories from its Legislative Internship Programme (LIP) Alumni.
If you would like to share a story about memories of the internship, how it impacted you, how you applied the internship experience, the meaningful connections you made or your current career trajectory, we would love to hear from you.
PLAC would be happy to share your stories and accomplishments with other alumni, prospective legislative interns, civil society partners, etc.
If you have a story, news update or photo you wish to share, please complete this short form to be featured in the upcoming inaugural issue of PLAC’s Legislative Internship Programme (LIP) Alumni Magazine.
Guiding questions: Please see questions to guide your contribution. Response to every question is optional, therefore feel free to only respond to a specific
question(s).
NOTE: Our team will review and assess each submission and will, if necessary, edit for clarity, style, grammar, punctuation and length. We may contact those who submit updates for further information where needed. Submissions will appear on PLAC’s Legislative Internship Programme (LIP) Alumni Magazine, which will be published on PLAC’s website, as well as on social media platforms during the 2022 Internship Programme scheduled for September to November 2022.
We therefore encourage early submission, before Friday, 23rd September 2022. Submissions received after this date may not make it into the publication.
