On Wednesday, 9 April, 2025, Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC) formally launched a report titled: \u201cFrom Ballot to the Courts: Analysis of Election Petition Litigation from Nigeria\u2019s 2023 General Elections.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The\nreport provides in-depth analysis of court judgments on election petitions that\nfollowed the results of the 2023 general elections in Nigeria. It reviews\nthe decisions of the tribunals and courts against the legal framework for\nelections, such as the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the\nElectoral Act, of 2022. It contains findings on issues, trends, and\nchallenges arising from the resolution of petitions and makes\nrecommendations thereto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
