Hon. Adewunmi Oriyomi Onanuga, who, until her demise, served as the Deputy Chief Whip of the House, representing the Ikenne\/Sagamu\/Remo North Federal Constituency of Ogun State.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hon.\nAdewunmi Onanuga\nis known for being a dedicated\npublic servant, a visionary leader, and a passionate advocate for her\nconstituents. She was first elected to the House in 2019 on the\nplatform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and she served as Chairperson\nof the House Committee on Women Affairs and Social Development in the 9th\nAssembly, where she championed policies to empower women and advance social\nwelfare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With her\npassing, the number of female legislators in the House of Representatives\nstands at 15.
