As political actors ready themselves, civil society organisations and concerned Nigerians have also intensified calls for citizens to prepare to participate in the elections by registering as voters with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and collecting their Permanent Voter\u2019s Cards (PVCs). This is in the light of growing voter apathy and diminishing voter turnout in Nigeria\u2019s elections, especially in recent times.
