This will be live on Channels Television at 7pm today, Friday, 3<sup>rd<\/sup> December 2021. #SeatsToElectHER is a conversation on improving women\u2019s political inclusion in Nigeria and the meeting will focus on discussions around opportunities for real change in increasing women\u2019s political representation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Despite 22 years of democracy and with women representing half of the population,\u00a0 women representation in elected offices currently stands at 4.43%. Unfortunately, this status quo which is not a true representation of society in political governance poses a great threat to the socio-economic well-being of Nigeria.  The ongoing Constitution review process presents another opportunity to increase women\u2019s political inclusion. Tune in, let\u2019s talk!
