Nigeria continues to witness several challenges regarding human rights protection. Incidents of human rights abuse, including violations of the rights of citizens by state authorities, remain rampant. This report is the first in a series of PLAC’s quarterly reports on human rights and explores the human rights trend in Nigeria within the first quarter of 2022. It includes details of identified human rights violations suffered by citizens in different parts of the country during the period under review.
