On Wednesday, 16 April, 2025, Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC) officially launched three legislative digital platforms – PLAC BillsTrack, PLAC Legislative Agenda Tracker, and PLAC Legislative Repository.
The newly launched platforms are broken down below:
- PLAC BillsTrack – A online platform for tracking the status and progress of bills going through the legislative process in the Nigerian National Assembly. Users can access the status and complete text of bills and legislation, as well as read analyses and infographics on select bills.
- PLAC Legislative Agenda Tracker – A digital tool that tracks and reports on the implementation of the legislative agenda of Nigeria’s National Assembly. Designed to enhance transparency, accountability and public engagement, it provides stakeholders with real-time insights into key reforms, bills, oversight activities and legislative priorities of both the Senate and the House of Representatives.
- PLAC Legislative Repository – An online library that hosts a wide array of legislative documents, research materials, and other key resources for stakeholders and the public.
PLAC is proud to announce the launch of these tools aimed at enhancing access to legislative information and fostering a more informed and participatory democracy. With the launch of these tools, PLAC is reinforcing its commitment to building an improved democratic environment for Nigeria.
PLAC invites all stakeholders—government institutions, civil society organizations, academia, media, and the public—to explore and utilize these tools in promoting legislative openness and accountability.
