Documentary Premiere on CSOs Advocacy Efforts and Contribution Towards Growth

Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC) with support from USAID-SCALE held a Documentary Premiere on CSOs’ Efforts and Contribution Towards Growth in Nigeria on Monday, May 6, 2024. The documentary features the work of civil society organisations (CSOs) and other Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs) that culminated in development in various aspects on society in the areas of governance, education, health, youth participation, women’s political participation, inclusion of Persons with Disabilities (PWD), among others.

Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on CSOs and development Matters, Hon. Victor Chukwuemele in his goodwill message, commended the work of CSOs in Nigeria’s development and enjoined them to do more. He also encouraged civil society actors to embrace a collaborative relationship with the National Assembly in order to achieve goals that will foster the progress of the nation.
