PLAC Event: West Africa Regional Meeting on the State of Civic Space

The West Africa Regional Meeting on the State of Civic Space organised by Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC) held on Wednesday, 29th June 2022 at Johnwood Hotel by Bolton, Abuja. It was part of several meetings around the world supported by the World Movement for Democracy (WMD), to facilitate discussions and share information on shrinking civic space, which will feed into the development of renewed advocacy plans to tackle the trend. Findings from these meetings will feed into presentations at the 2022 Taiwan Global Assembly in October, where WMD’s network of partners will come together for a global strategic discussion on the way forward and actions to open civic space globally.
