PLAC Event: Training for Clerks of the National Assembly

Policy and Legal Advocacy Centre (PLAC)  with support from the United Kingdom Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) conducted  a training for Clerks of the Senate and House of Representatives Committees on 1^st and 2^nd December 2022, in Abuja. The theme of the session was “Improving the Effectiveness of Legislative Committee Administration”. It was a follow-up to a training conducted for the Clerks in September 2022. Presentations at the training focused on improving the skills of the participants in drafting motions, resolutions and official communication to the Executive, as well as how to measure and document the achievements of the various Committees of the National Assembly.
