NASS Appoints Acting Clerk

The National Assembly Service Commission on 18^th November 2022, announced the appointment of Sani Magaji Tambawal as the Acting Clerk to the National Assembly. In the statement containing the announcement, signed by the Executive Chairman of the Commission, Ahmed Amshi, the Commission also appointed Ogunlana Kamoru as Acting Deputy Clerk to the National Assembly and six others as Secretaries to various directorates of the National Assembly Commission. Prior to his appointment as Clerk to the National Assembly, Tambawal was the Secretary to the Directorate of Finance and Accounts in the National Assembly. He replaced Olatunde Amos Ojo, the former Clerk to the National Assembly, who was asked to proceed on his three-month pre-retirement leave ahead of his retirement in February 2023.
