Commemorating the 2022 International Women’s Day, staff at PLAC paint a picture of the possibilities that lie in recognising and promoting the rights of women, while restating commitment to working towards the elimination of barriers to gender equality. Women’s rights are indeed part of human rights and should be protected. At PLAC, we believe a sustainable future requires gender balance today. We therefore remain committed to women inclusion and gender equality and stand firm in our commitment to advocate for policies and reforms that would break the bias against women in political leadership positions.
