The Senate President, Senator Ahmad Lawan, on Wednesday, October 13, reconstituted the leadership and membership of some of the Standing and Special Committees of the Senate.
These changes are as follows:
- Sen. Ya’u Alhaji Sahabi- Chairman Senate Committee on National Population and Planning
- Sen. Tokunbo Abiru- Chairman, Senate Committee on Industry
- Sen. Saidu Ahmed Alkali- Chairman, Senate Committee on Trade and Investment
- Sen. Kabir Barkiya- Chairman, Senate Committee on Inter-Parliamentary Affairs
- Sen. Seriake Dickson- Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Interior; Member, Senate Committee on Appropriations.
- Sen. Olalekan Ramoni- Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on INEC
- Sen. Jarigbe Agom Jarigbe- Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Foreign Affairs
- Sen. Moses Cleopas- Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on National Planning and Economic Affairs
- Sen. Tolulope Odebiyi- Vice Chairman, Senate Committee on Marine Transport
- Sen. Biodun Olujimi- Member, Senate Committee on Appropriations.
- Sen. Frank Ibezim- Member, Senate Committee on Appropriations
